I extremely proud to announce that Dryfuse is now up and running. Additionally I have almost successfully added all the extended features for this site in addition to making it as automated and sleek as possible. Okay, past the boring stuff!
As the Admin I will start the first blog post off by saying that I am very ENTHUSIASTIC and plan to make this blog into a useful source that contains a vast amount of information pertaining to art.
This for those people who feel they are interested in where this site is going. What I have in plan for the future? Eventually over time I plan to acquire a vbulletin license so our site can have a forum which would make it more of a community and more interactive opposed to just being a database of knowledge. I foreshadow that in the long run I might hire professional programmers to code a site from scratch to make us specifically geared to towards art and such, very much like how DevianArt is. Luckily in the short term I definitely plan on getting a a custom theme and layout for our site. It might cost me a pretty penny or two, but it is worth it. Without getting into too much detail that is basically where our site currently stands. One last thing, we are changing hosts; we will still keep the same domain names so you will not even notice anything different. The reason for being is because our site is advancing in popularity at such a tremendous rateā¦. well it simply translates to our servers need more bandwidth to supply all the visitors. And uh, thats that!
Frequency! Well I do so many high quality sketches every day it will never be hard for me to generate new content on a regular basis. I am assigning myself a MINIMUM of three posts a week, but I plan to do a lot more than that.
Heres a little background on me. The reason for me creating this blog was not an inconvenience like it is to most people. Art is a part of my life and I do it on a regular basis with great passion; the only difference now is that I am documenting my work for the world to see and sharing my art techniques with others. I might be a little eccentric, but it plays to my creative friendly personality. So cheers to the future of Dryfuse!
